2. Open the Oculus Rift software and sign in. If you don't have an account, create one now.

3. Click on the "Settings" button in the upper-left corner of the window and select "Display." Under "Screen Resolution," click on "Change resolution." In the "Virtual Reality Display Settings" dialog box, select "Oculus Rift." Under "Monitor Type," choose "Second Monitor" and under "Output Resolution," type in 3840×2160.

4. Plug in your Oculus Rift headset and headphones and turn on your computer. If everything is set up correctly, you'll see a message saying that your display is ready to use with an Oculus Rift device. You will also see a notification in the lower-right corner of your screen letting you know that Windows has installed new drivers for your graphics card and will restart soon to complete the installation process.
